The Beach House Kitchen
Here is the final kitchen, with built-in GE refrigerator, silent dishwasher, Corian counter and sink, and DCS stove.
Notice the tile work under the stove hood. We had this birds tile for 10 years before finding the perfect place to use it!
The outside wall of the kitchen has a pass through to the swimming pool; and french doors that open on the porch. We feel that the cook should be in the middle of all the action. In fact, the kitchen has 5 openings to the outside.
Here is the view from the pool deck, looking back into the kitchen.
The outside wall, looking the other way. You can see that the dining area is just outside the kitchen. This is under a vine-covered arbor, which has a retractable awning for those days when you have set the perfect table but it starts to rain.
There is another table outside on the other side of the kitchen, perfect for breakfast while admiring the beach.
